From Ink to Epic Landscapes
A Journey Behind the Lens
If it moves you when you see it, that’s the shot.
I got into photography by accident. I bought a camera originally just to take better photos of my tattoos. I got talked into a pretty expensive one, and figured I’d better actually use it. So I took it out into the bush one day… and something changed.
That first set of photos hooked me. Not just because I liked the images, but because I felt something I hadn’t expected: peace, presence, and a drive to find more. What started as a tool for documenting tattoos became a full-blown passion. From there, I discovered a love for camping, for chasing light, and for standing in awe of epic vistas most people never get to see.
Since then, I’ve traveled the world with a camera, just as I have with music and tattooing. I’ve shot landscapes in wild places, captured fleeting moments of light, and sat for hours waiting for a single frame to come together. It’s about patience, timing, and feeling something real when you look through the viewfinder.
While landscape photography is where my heart is, I also shoot:
- Weddings — natural, story-driven, with a relaxed approach
- Portraits — character over perfection, real moments over poses
- Commercial work — product, branding, and lifestyle imagery
I was proud to be featured in the 2017 Canon Yearbook, but these days I shoot on Sony gear.I don’t care much about brand loyalty, I care about results, and I care about telling the truth through an image.
Whether I’m deep in the bush or working with people in town, I shoot the way I live, honestly, instinctively, and always with heart.
